Amy Fonnesbeck and Megan Zubrickas planned this party perfectly. Thank you ladies and thank you parents for all your help! Please enjoy the pictures we captured from the party. Look at the smiles on all of their faces! The class enjoyed a delicious treat, played games, got their picture taken in a "photo booth," and created a decoration.

Run! Run! As fast as you can!
We have been comparing and contrasting gingerbread stories all week.
Today we made gingerbread men! The class got to smell the ingredients, mix them into a bowl, roll out the dough, and cut their own gingerbread men. The class promised not to add magic... but.....
we came back from lunch, and found the gingerbread cookies to be gone! Where could they be?
We searched the halls, high and low... we almost gave up. Then we decided to ask the office if they saw our gingerbread men.
WE FOUND THEM!

Holiday Preparations!
We are preparing for our Christmas party! We read The Wild Christmas Reindeer, by Jan Brett. Later, we made our very own Reindeer hats to wear for our Christmas Party tomorrow! Jan Brett also wrote The Gingerbread Baby, which we read in the library. On Monday, we made 'gingerbread' ornaments made with cinnamon, applesauce and glue! They have made our classroom smell delicious!
