Author's Chair

We have been working hard writing our HOW TO stories, and most of us have had a chance to publish our great work!  We have a checklist of things we need to include in our HOW TO stories: 

We even learned how to add elaborations (warnings) and a conclusion!  Once we conferred with a teacher to make sure our stories made sense, it was time for publishing.  We got to color our own pictures to our own books!

We practiced reading our HOW TO books to our learning buddy:

 

Then we got to read them on the ELMO.  Horray!

 

We have found a new joy of reading and writing!
